Jayden Holmes is a 20-year-old film photography enthusiast and aspiring audio engineer based in Miami Beach, Florida. His photography journey began on Christmas Day in 2012, a particularly significant moment as it marked his first holiday without his father, who passed away earlier that year. On that day, Jayden’s mother gifted him a Canon PowerShot camera—an object that would later become a pivotal part of his life, though she, too, would pass away in May of 2016.

Following the loss of both parents at a young age, Jayden briefly took a hiatus from photography. However, during his junior year of high school, his love for the art medium was reignited through the use of his aunt’s Polaroid One 600. Now armed with his trusted Pentax K1000, Jayden now seeks to capture more than just images—he strives to express his unique perspective and experience of the world through his lens. Each of his photographs serve as a visual portal, offering viewers a chance to engage with time and emotion from multiple viewpoints.
